Agreed value validation for classic bike
What is agreed value?
As part of our cover for classic motorbikes, Bennetts can offer the option of having an agreed value which guarantees the amount you will be paid for your motorbike in the event of a total loss claim. You have the option to add on agreed value to your classic bike policy at any time.
What do I need to do to apply for an agreed value on my policy?
You can apply for an agreed value on your policy by completing and sending us the agreed value request form which can be found here:
Agreed value request formIn order to apply for the agreed value feature, you will need to:
Complete the agreed value request form linked above (this will also be sent to you with your policy documents)
A copy of any independent valuations you have of the bike, ensuring the date of the valuation is included
Include a copy of the V5C
Include any supporting documentation such as purchase receipts which help to substantiate the value you want to agree
Include 7 good quality photographs of the motorbike which show: The near side, far side, front, rear (including registration number), engine, instruments and clocks and finally, the frame number
If you are on a multi-bike policy you will need to complete the agreed value form and above process for each classic bike on which you wish to apply for an agreed value.

You can simply scan your Agreed Value form and supporting information and send it to us by email to: classic.bike@bennetts.co.uk
Make sure that if you scan a document or photo, that the image clearly shows the information we need to see.
Please note, market value will apply to the motorbike until the valuation has been agreed and confirmed on the policy.
