Although it’s not uncommon to see big dealer discounts of brand-new examples of Harley-Davidson’s less popular models, such as the US brand’s Pan America adventure bike or on its ultra high-priced bikes, it’s rarer on its classic, middle of the road tourers and cruisers – but that’s the case here. Dealer Newmarket Harley-Davidson is currently offering this brand new, 0-mile, unregistered example in grey of Harley’s classic Heritage Softail with a whopping discount of £3450 which takes the big V-twin’s asking price down from the previous £23,445 to now be up for grabs for just £19,995

Save £3400 off Suzuki’s GSX-S1000GX
If an ultra-exotic Italian super naked such as the Aprilia above or a classic Harley cruiser like the Heritage Classic isn’t quite to your motorcycling taste, how about getting a big dealer discount on an already brilliantly priced sports-tourer/all-rounder, such as Suzuki’s latest GSX-S1000GX? Get £2500 off this Triumph Speed Twin 1200
While, finally for this week, how about this for a very tempting cut-price deal on probably the most potent and exciting retro roadster currently available? Triumph’s 1200cc T120 Bonneville remains the definitive retro roadster but if you want more performance, the Speed Twin 1200 with its ‘HP’ engine and uprated chassis including inverted forks and radial brakes is the bike to beat. Best of all, dealer Destination Motorcycles of Dorset has just slashed the price of this brand new, unregistered example by a full £1200 so taking it asking price down from the usual £13,195 to now be up for grabs for just £11,995.

Save £3098 on this Indian Sport Chief
Further proof that, while big dealer discounts can be had on new bikes, sometimes even bigger ones can be had on low mileage, used examples – as is the case here. Used bike specialists Superbike Factory is currently offering a ‘Price Drop’ January sale with these three bikes some of the biggest beneficiaries. First up is this 23-plate example of US brand Indian’s Sport Chief model. It’s covered just 4491 miles, is in immaculate condition, comes with a free, extended, 12-month warranty and, best of all, has just had its price discounted by a massive £3098 so taking it down from the previous £16,490 to now £13,392

Next, if you like the Indian Sport Chief above but don’t fancy one in black or perhaps want one that’s done even fewer miles, used bike specialists Superbike Factory also has this other example of the Sport Chief. This time the bike concerned is in grey on a 73-plate, has covered just 698 miles, is again part of the company’s ‘Price Drop’ January Sale and this time sees its price discounted by an almost-as-good £2627 which has the result of dropping its asking price down from the previous £15,990 to now just £13,363 – and again, a free 12-month extended warranty is included.

While, last for this week, but by no means least, how about this for a brilliant, low mileage, virtually as-new example of BMW’s revolutionary big bore boxer cruiser, the R 18? It’s again being offered by used bike specialists Superbike Factory as part of its ‘Price Drop’ January sale, is a 21-plate example which has covered just 1421 miles, because of that is in immaculate, gleaming condition and, best of all, has just benefitted from a big discount of £1003 which takes its asking price down from £9490 to now be a steal for just £8487 – and, again, a free 12-month extended warranty is thrown in
