One of the most striking superbikes of recent years has surely been Kawasaki’s 40th anniversary edition of its all-conquering ZX-10R SE which was launched last year complete with a retro green/white/blue paintjob which rekindles that of the 1989 ZXR750 – and now you can get it at a bargain price. With big, premium bikes sometimes comes the opportunity for big dealer discounts on unsold bikes – as is the case here. Leading BMW dealer Stratstone is currently offering this brand new, zero-mile, unregistered example of the German marque’s Grand America, more laid-back version of its monster six-cylinder, 160bhp, super-luxurious K1600GTL full-dress tourer with a full £4171 off. Get £4000 off this Harley-Davidson Softail Standard
Proof that big dealer discounts don’t always come on luxurious, fully loaded machines. Leading London dealer Warr’s is currently offering a big £4000 discount on this gleaming black example of Harley-Davidson’s most basic, pared down, ‘big twin’ cruiser – the Softail Standard. Normally £14,995, the example concerned is brand new, 0-mile, a great ‘base’ Harley cruiser for you to accessorize and make your own and, thanks to the discount is now priced at just £10,995 – that’s less than a Yamaha Tracer 9 for what is undoubtedly one of the most legendary, big-bore, American cruisers of all.

Get up to £3100 off KTMs
We’ve all by now heard about Austrian manufacturer KTM’s financial woes and now they’re being reflected in a new series of KTM ‘Power Deals’ which sees up to £3100 slashed from the prices of some of its new bikes. Almost all of its 2024 models are included and ranges from £900 off a 125 Duke all the way up to £2700 off the new-for-2024 1390 Super Duke R. But the biggest discount of all is on the superb sports tourer 1290 Super Duke GT and sees a discount of £3100 so taking its price down now to just £15,899

Get this KTM 1290 Super Duke RR with £1258 off
Big dealer discounts on virtually new used bikes can sometimes make you wonder why you should bother buying new – as is the case here. Used bike specialists Superbike Factory is currently offering this ultra-low mileage, mint condition example of KTM’s brilliant, class-leading, 173bhp 1290 Super Duke RR super naked with a further £1258 off. Ducati’s Panigale V4 superbike remains one of the best, most potent and most desirable sports machines of its type, even if prices now start at over £24,000 but this low mileage used example shows that it can sometimes be temptingly affordable, too. It’s being offered again by used bike specialists Superbike Factory, is on a 22-plate, has covered just 4000 miles, is in immaculate condition in gleaming red and has just been reduced by a further £1000 so taking its asking price down from the previous £18,891 to now just £17,891

Save £790 on this Honda NC750S
While, finally for this week, how about this for a bargain example of one of the most intriguing, easy to ride and hugely economical commuters of all? Although now discontinued, the NC750S is the roadster version of Honda’s massively popular, low revving, twin-cylinder, adventure styled NC750X. As such it has all of that bike’s economy, ease of use and clever in-tank luggage compartment. Best of all, though, this example is on a 20-plate, is in immaculate condition having covered just 7059 miles and Superbike Factory has just reduced it as part of its Price Match promotion by a further £790 so taking it down from £3990 to a bargain £3200

Superbikes don’t get much more special than Aprilia’s RSV4 Factory, which not only is powered by a sublime V4 boasting 170bhp but also class-leading electronics and some of the best cycle parts in the business. But the Italian wonder is also no aging slightly and, enlarged to 1100cc, is no longer eligible for world superbike racing, which is why they are often subject to big discounts, too – as is the case here.
