Order books for Yamaha’s limited edition XSR900 Abarth open tomorrow (17th January), with the first run of 95 bikes being made available.
BikeSocial first reported on Yamaha’s retro style café racer back in November when the bike was revealed to the worlds media at EICMA 2016 – the annual motorcycle trade show based in Italy.
Featuring a full Akrapovič titanium exhaust, a cool suede sports seat and some retro style carbon fibre fairings, the café racer certainly caught our attention in Milan as one of the stand out best lookers of the show.
Only 695 examples of the XSR900 Abarth will be made worldwide and Yamaha are releasing the first batch of these bikes imminently. The first 95 customers also get an array of exclusive ‘Yamaha VIP Abarth Experiences’ - including being whisked to a UK track to try out some of Abarth’s latest model range.
A few flying laps with one of their professional drivers in a Fiat 500 Arbarth later and the experience then extends to a visit to Abarth’s headquarters in Turin for a unique guided tour.
If all of the above sounds like music to your ears, remember to set a reminder for 16.00 tomorrow when Yamaha’s dedicated online registration system fires up.
However, don’t worry if you miss out this time round, the remaining units of the new XSR900 Abarth will be available through Yamaha motorcycle dealers from spring 2017 onwards, with prices starting from £9,999.
